This research aims to conduct a comparative analysis of regional economic performance and local government financial performance of local governments in three districts/cities in Aceh Province, namely Aceh Utara, Lhokseumawe, and Bireuen. The study analyzes the economic performance of these regions and the financial performance of local governments during the period from 2018-2022 based on the regional economic performance index, self-reliance ratio, effectiveness ratio, and efficiency ratio. This study utilizes MANOVA to analyze the data from these three regions. The results show that there are significant differences in regional economic performance among the three areas. This implies that the economic performance in each region differs statistically. However, there are no significant differences in local government financial performance based on the self-reliance, effectiveness, and efficiency ratios among the three regions. This indicates that the three regions have similar levels of financial self-reliance, effectiveness, and efficiency in financial management statistically.
