Abstract
After the tsunami in Aceh, children and adolescents are vulnerable with many often-experiencing violence and sexual harassment, which continues to increase in Aceh. The public is increasingly understanding violence due to the openness of information regarding cases of violence, even though the crime rate for sexual offenders has not decreased. The global development that teenagers are increasingly experiencing is becoming more rapid with the development of the industrial and technological revolutions. So, knowledge about sex education and religion is often neglected, and pornographic information is increasingly free. Weak support from law enforcement for providing protection to victims means that children's cases do not receive legal justice. This discussion, as a view of reality, is very contradictory to the majority Muslim society in Aceh Province. Based on lengthy ethnographic fieldwork, interviews, and a study discussing the problem of violence against children and adolescents, the problem continues to increase along with the official implementation of Islamic Law in Aceh. In Acehnese society, the results of this research can be drawn to the conclusion that parental supervision of children is not yet a priority because various family factors in family achievement and understanding of child support in the family are still not well implemented. Children's reproductive health education is still minimal and taboo, both in school and family environments. On the other hand, there is freedom in association with increasingly sophisticated innovations in the development of modern life.
