Abstract


PeThis research aims to partially determine (1) interpersonal communication on teacher performance. 2) Work ethic on teacher performance, interpersonal communication, and work ethic together on teacher performance. This research was conducted at State Middle Schools in Lhokseumawe City using quantitative methods, survey approach, population of 584 teachers, sample of 237 teachers, sampling technique using proportional random sampling, based on sample provisions by Slovin, "Likert scale" questionnaire data collection technique and techniques path analysis data processing. Partial research findings (1) the direct influence of interpersonal communication on performance is 0.016; (7) the direct influence of work ethic on performance is 0, 027; The simultaneous research findings of interpersonal communication and ethos together on teacher performance were 0.04 while the remaining 0.96 was determined by other factors
