ETHICAL LEADERSHIP ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE THROUGH JOB SATISFACTION AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE (Case Study on PT. X Employees)

Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of ethical leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable on PT. X Employess. The research method used in this study is quantitative. The entire population was sampled in this study, amounting to 112 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. Then testing was carried out directly and indirectly, to determine the influence between research variables. The research findings show that partial ethical leadership does not have a significant effect on employee performance. While the results of the path analysis prove that job satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of ethical leadership on employee performance. The effect of ethical leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction was 26.9 percent, while the rest was explained by other variables that were not used in the study.
