Leaders are the top role holder for the progress of his organization, and this research presented the effectiveness of the transformational leadership style in the practice of managing the head of the study program at the educational institution, namely FKIP almuslim University which continues to face various changes. The research subjects in this mini research are 9 chairmen of study programs within the scope of FKIP Almuslim University, 40 lecturers within the scope of FKIP Almuslim University, and 9 education personnel within the scope of Almuslim University. This method of research in mini-research is qualitative research, data acquisition through interviews, observations, and documentation. The continuation of data collection techniques is carried out by triangulation. The findings of this study are (1). Transformational leadership throughout the study program within the scope of FKIP Almuslim University has been able to create good governance for study programs, which is reflected in the concept of leading by paying attention to "Islamic" values and characters, having morals karimah, humanist relations between study program leaders, study program staff, lecturers and students.
