Peer Review Process

The peer review process is carried out to ensure the quality and substance of the article. This process is an objective process carried out with the following procedures:

  1. Initial Evaluation. Preliminary evaluation of all submitted articles to ensure the conformity of the scope and rules of writing with the requirements. Articles that pass the check will be sent to two Reviewers.
  2. Peer Review. The 2ndMalikussaleh International Conference on Law, Legal Studies and Social Science (MICoLLS) 2022 applies for a double-blind review; that is, the author does not know who is reviewing and vice versa. This is done to maintain objectivity.
  3. Plotting Reviewer. The Reviewer's assignment to an article is based on considerations of the Reviewer's field of expertise.
  4. Reviewer's Report. Reviewers are tasked with providing feedback/reviews of articles taking into account the originality, structure and flow of writing, the code of ethics for scientific writing, ownership of precise results and supporting what is concluded, and references to previous research.
  5. Length of Review Process. The length of the review process is one (1) week from the time it begins to be assigned. Reviewers can provide recommendations in the form of "Article accepted", "Minor revision", "Major revision", or "Article rejected". If there is a revision, the author will get a notification to make revisions, sent along with the Reviewer's comments via email. The revised results will be reviewed again to ensure that the notes from the Reviewer have been appropriately implemented.
